Community

To begin visualizing this group of people as a particular shape with particular functions and characteristics, Pre-write about this community. If you get stuck or aren’t sure what to write, answer some of the questions below and see where they take you:
· Who are the members of the community? How do they interact? What is central to their membership? Do members choose to be a part of this community or are they members because of other reasons (geography, ethnicity, religion, etc.)
· What are the community’s characteristics? Its benefits? Its disadvantages? Its successes? Its problems?
· What do you enjoy about the community? What do you dislike about it?

The community here at year up consist of individuals chosen to be here. We are then divided into learning communities and then split into sections. Although we  may be learning the same material each of our tech instructors has a unique method of instruction. my instructor Marcus is vary challenging he demands the best and expects more then that. His methods challenge students to go above and beyond what is expected of our peers. i feel that knowing that we have to work a little harder or read a little more then our peers makes us want to keep pace.
Even though we are usually a chapter or two ahead of out peers students in section b still interact well with the other sections. We have the opportunity participate in peer to peer tutoring which reinforces the subject for us.
